How do insert a rest with the edit segment tool?

ChordWizard Support

To insert an empty bar (or multiple bars) of rest, use Song-Insert Bar from the main workspace.

You can insert a smaller amount of space by moving events.  In Segment View or the Segment Edit box, select the events you want to move and then use the arrow keys.

If Snap To Grid is On, each keypress will move the notes by one gridline.

If Snap To Grid is Off, each keypress will move the notes by a small increment, or by one gridline if you are holding down the Ctrl key at the same time.

If Snap to grid is Off, the increment is the value of TPQ= tick divisions per quarter note shown in the status bar bottom right (Bar (n)-Location(l)-TPQ. To specify TPQ go to Song Setup, Controls, Structure, Ticks per Qtn. 144 seems to be default value. If you specify your own value I assume you know what you are doing.
