I joined the British Brass Band movement at 11 years old.  and was active until i mooved to Portugal in 1983.  I was also a member of a small dance band. We played at many locations in the lowlands and borders of Scotland. i now play occasionally in our Church group.  I am now also trying to learn chord theory since I was not taught this in the Brassband.
